At The McAlear Group, fostering a culture of social responsibility and community engagement is deeply ingrained in the company’s ethos. When the opportunity to participate in Bike to the Bay arose, it was a no-brainer for the four team members, who were passionate about supporting those battling MS.
As part of SSC’s core values, being actively involved in our communities is an important part of our company culture and the development of our team. Throughout the year, we look for opportunities to learn more about people, events, and organizations surrounding us, not just in Ohio, but across the US.
The journey itself was transformative. Our employees volunteered their time, efforts, and skills to assist in various ways, including rebuilding homes and providing emotional support to the residents who had been through immense trauma.
The McAlear Group held a paper airplane Flight Challenge for its employees to benefit the Honor Flight Network. The Honor Flight Network is a non- profit organization that honors American Veterans by providing them with free transportation to Washington D.C, where they are able to visit their respective war memorials.
